The change you least expect...

February 1, 2015

they say "that the best things in life comes when you least expect them." before moving out of manila... the truth is. I wanted to run away from whatever I have in that city. I'm still a little hesitant to move out... pondering and wondering about the life that I have to give up and convincing myself that I have nothing left in that city. not to get me wrong but I love manila, It brought me so much learning and adventure that made me who I'am today.. from the people and the friends that I have made; but when the day finally arrived that I had to make a choice... I followed my instincts and set my foot on the plane jan 14, 2015. this is what I did not expected..

Taking Leaps away from the city (part1)

November 3, 2014

Visiting new places around the world and the country, is always a nurturing experience for me. hopping from one beach to another and getting there, always tells a whole different story. It is indeed that your lens are your eyes to everything you want the whole world to see, and I'm so grateful to share my experience away from the city.

AN AMRY INTO YOUR LIFE

September 21, 2014

While flipping to the feeds and timeline of my instagram, I came across to this quote "life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it" and it is quoted from Charles R. Swindol. We all go through a rough and tough circumstance somewhat in our lives. Our unstable emotions take us out to our good judgement about how to handle things often than not, we end up taking the wrong actions or decision about where we are. Sometimes, there is a feeling of a need to act on an impulse on something, instead to let it linger; by not acting on anything until we remove ourselves within our emotions that hinders our better judgement about our/the situation.
At the end of our agony. We all have to risk in making decisions. To let go of the anxiety of whatever outcome our decisions will take. How your simple "NO" can bring someone else's "YES" or how others stepping a foot backward can make your two feet move forward. we can practice to live on what we have every moment and work on something for tomorrow. you'll never know that one day, you wake up living on something greater that you could have only imagined. stand up. be tough. learn how to equip yourself with the essential arsenals of what is needed in this world and life to survive. Accept life and embrace living. knowing when to fight or give up. keep questioning... until you find an answer.
I know the first two paragraphs were serious, but hey... this is my blog anyway haha. this is just a once in a blue moon scenario in my life. moving forward! I got inspired by accessorizing something extravagant from my casual look to balance street style to high street(if you know what it means).

accessorizing with metal pieces and earth color to give a little complexity with my look

Dress for success

August 31, 2014
The "Ber" months is the least favorite weather of mine than the heat of the summer. It is also the time wherein Jackets and Coats are everywhere. I'm one guilty to sport one too by the way. Jackets, suits and blazers are really my thing, it gives you this feeling of power, confidence, and authority. My teacher from training said "Dress not just to impress, but also for success." thought I was the only one taking it seriously in class but my Teacher "Red" too. I hate to say this that for now, I'm a corporate slave, but I know this won't be for too long. September has just arrived and It's time to reset or bring back what is hidden and buried along your closet. this is always the month where everyone change. this is the season where people embody something else.

this is the kind of look that I go to for at work. a simple button down oxford sleeves, khaki pants, and corporate jacket to complete the corporate street style look.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

August 17, 2014
This time, I will continuously tell my self to proof read all my post and not let my impulsive spontaneity get in the way to ending up in a mess with everything that I'm writing. I've embarrassed myself already and will just laugh it out about lol. after this post I'd probably get out the safe zone and write down whatever conservative, informative and vulgar thoughts in my mind. To further express more whatever interests I have to share in the cyber world and the whole world of course. enough about me... moving on, I'd like to share the more intimate version of my friend's little birthday celebration compared to mine. not to mention the broken links that i'm pissed about from my previous post about my birthday.
the food was ok. not an over top steak house here in manila. the service wasn't that outstanding but the staff are really welcoming and very friendly.
here are some of the pictures of the food we had. and mind you I still managed to have pics without looking bloated from all the food we had after that night. even thou I obviously gained weight in that picture, I'm already working out to get back in shape.

Intramuros: San agustin church (tourist destination in manila)

August 5, 2014

I've been staying in the Philippines for 5 years now and I have never set a foot on one of the historical places here in manila. It was around 1pm when my friend called and told me to "wake up! we're going to san agustin church, already parked and here down your building".

birthday

July 27, 2014

I don't really have a good plan on how to celebrate my birthday last july 26 that night and day. I was even having 2nd thoughts if I should even celebrate. plus that I was also having a hard time what to wear haha. but gladly, everything went well. I told my friends that I want to have an intimate celebration. although some weren't able to come because of the rain, but everything was worth it.

prior to my party. I'd like to thank the friends who made an effort to surprise me at the night welcoming my birthday, I really had no idea about the cake and all. I was really surprised.

I'd also like to thank everyone

blooms in the summer

March 25, 2014

It is just about the right seam, trim, and tailors to sport a floral, or an excessive print for the men of the season. We’ve seen women of the 2013 gracing the streets and runway, strutting their looks of floral and modern day artistic print. It played a little qualm for some fashion savvies in suiting the masculinity of men in the idea, but for 2014 spring/summer it was just all about the right cut, fit, and palate to exhibit those looks for the season. It is not entirely new, as we’ve seen many fashion designers coming up and executing florals and print over the last year spring/summer 2013 season collection on the runways. A lot of men were a bit reluctant with the idea of floral, probably because the women have flaunt so much femininity about it. It only took a little time for men to be comfortable and spot a massive outfitter sporting the look. It’s comical to affirm that a lot of women encouraging men to wear the kind of prints and floral. Thanking those designers for working with the right combinations and patches that made it so irresistible, taking a fresh outtake and modern approach in demonstrating sartorial expression.

Reasons to go at Tipsy Pig

It was a Sunday night when my friends and I decided to chill but still undecided where to go, so we ended up at Capitol Commons in Pasig city.

Teenage style

November 10, 2013
It is my first time to wear a shirt underneath my sleeves out of rush and to portray an easy going and laze look from the regime of my day. To exude a vibe out of my ordinary get up to my colleagues that evening.

It wasn't a good start of my evening from some difficult people making complicated rules or such. Good thing that my Colleague/friend and I decided to watch "Gravity" at the movie house with her husband that night, after a chaotic meeting with our terrible/monster/villain/dragon bosses haha. excuse my anguish for reminiscing the feeling how bad my evening was going lol. enough with that story telling back with the outfit!

the sleeves I'm wearing that evening has been in my closet for centuries or forever since I can remember. going through some digging and diving just to match my favorite printed shirt

Chanel Man Singapore

September 6, 2013

This was one of my outfits taken this year on my trip to Singapore. Singapore has a humid weather like the Philippines and layers of clothing is not advisable if you are planning to spend most of your day outdoors. may little trip at universal studio was a blast and I wanted to look simple, street, and let that big logo of chanel on my shirt speak for itself of luxury. Sunglasses are a must! on a sunny outdoor in Singapore. as to I've mention to my early post that I'am a huge fan of Aviator sunglasses from Rayban. It will give you a very masculine laid back bad boy look every time I see someone wear it matching whatever outfit you are wearing.

Ranger Look.

August 7, 2013

After watching the G.I. Joe Retaliation; I got inspired to pull off something rangerish and grab a denim jacket and Aviator sunglasses that I'm obsessed with while I was at the Diamond Hotel. Pairing it with a gray cream shorts and still Incorporating my style. The jacket was actually a Varsity denim style and it was risky for me to come up with this because, I don't want to look varsity but aim for the ranger. thank you for the aviator and the shorts that completed and blended with my whole ranger-ish look.

Disney Land HongKong and macau trip part 2

August 6, 2013

Channeling the Kid in me while I was in Disney Land, same goes with my outfit. since Im 21 and adulthood is the tagline for being at that age. I wanted to feel like I was 7 or 10 so I wore a Denim Jumper shorts and my long sleeve to mix an essences of adulthood. A tie with a checkered pattern as a combination of kiddy kid and adulthood.

21st at HONGKONG and MACAU part 1

August 4, 2013

It's been 2 years since the last time I stopped pursuing this hobby of blogging, because of so many situation that has happened that kept me away from doing a journal about my daily life activity; especially with my love for Fashion and life. I've been telling some of my friends that I wanted to start and reinvent my new blog from the old one I had before. I'd like to thank Hannan Panolong and Alyssa Lucman for helping me out as well as giving me insights about the layout for this blog. Pardon for my informal way of writing by the way lol. It actually took me a week to get and have this simple layout; fixing and placing everything for presentation purposes. Finally! today is the day. As for my First Post, I would love to tell and share my first ever HongKong Experience; since some of my friends kept asking "how your trip?". Now this is it!
