3 Reasons why everyone should wear a sunblock

January 29, 2016
Everybody loves the sun, and I myself is guilty of this. Everybody knows that there are harmful effects of those rays to our skin; like the Common UVA or UVB rays effects to our skin.

1. IT AGES YOUR SKIN
UVA and UVB are the common UV(ultra violet) rays emitted by the sun, and will be explained why it causes our skin to age.

UVA rays burns and damages the outer layer of your skin which is the epidermis. These rays cannot penetrate through the looking glass like the mirrors of your car or our sunglasses. In other words it's not that harmful to our skin. But it is still very important to buy products that contain one of these protection (UVA protection).

But what's more important is the

UVB... It does not only burn the surface of your skin but also the penetrated deep into the layers of your skin(epidermis). That causes more damaging effects to our skin like the collagen that gives the skin quality to it's youth looking. That is why its very important to buy these product containing those two contents.

As little as SPF(SUN PROTECTION FACTOR) 21 or more would do according to experts.

2. SKIN CANCER

Over exposure to the UV rays mentioned at number 1 can lead you to skin cancer; especially those who have the history of the disease and must treat early signs to prevent it's fatal effect.

3. SUN DAMAGE IS CUMULATIVE

Experts say that 90% of skin agin and damage is because of the sun. every exposure contributes to the possible damage of our skin at a cellular level that builds up overtime.

so go and pop those sunscreen and enjoy the sun.

Dubai Beach

August 5, 2015
Dubai... it is an ellipses of positive overwhelming experience. the luxury living and the high life is just so different from the so many countries that i've been to. the countless vacations I've had. I'd probably visit again and bring my parents for them to see, and also in a condition of a favorable weather. summer in the middle east is just terrible for me.
And because I'm in a city known for it's luxury lifestyle and living, I decided to bring a little luxury with me. This is the Jumeirah Beach as far as I can remember walks away from Marina place that I'm staying. this is a public beach... It's funny because I can't afford to have a sunburn at that moment because of work, and the next thing you know my skin is peeling like snake's skin... so yeah. I piled tons of son block and wore this.

on a side note... there was too much going on before coming to Dubai, As I've lost my Iphone coming from Bangkok. cancelled my ticket to Dubai last minute; cause I was so upset and book on a later date haha. not just that... the disaster part was. I lost my wallet together with my cards and ID. I'm sure everyone who has lost something like this can relate how inconvenient and a hassle to redeem and cut those cards back. but I'm over it. so much for my journey of being 22... and now that I just turned 23 last july 24, I'd be more responsible (actually i became paranoid with my belongings) with the stuff I have.

I have to admit that I am slacking in posting and been lazying about it. I had nothing to do tonight that's why I decided to update my blog from my last post.

I can't showcase much of the whereabouts I've been but I will try my best to post some pictures relating to this.

Why travelling Enriches you

June 23, 2015
Segovia, Spain

For the past 3 months that I have been out and about, going to different countries and places. I've learned a lot of things. This time I'll try to post more about my travels and blog as much as I can. things that made me more understand the world, people and especially more of myself. along the way, I've had struggle from people telling me what to do and friends acting like they always know better than me and with the choices I make in life. that struck me a little I have to admit. but this is my life. and like you someone reading this out there. don't let others struck you with other's piece of mind or principle. it's your life... take rule of it.

1. I learned that "I'm not the Center of the world"

As I was walking along the beautiful town of Segovia in Spain. I saw tons of teenagers for a trip and some tourist enjoying the view or some local individuals finding answers... wishing luck. that I came to realize that I was one of them. when I was younger; on my teenage days, I always felt that the world is in the grasp of my hands. My foolish youth is always attached with selfishness, envy and big bowl of random insecurities. I always wanted to feel important. be in the scene. then as I began to enter adulthood, I also begin to understand more of my self and especially the people around me. and as I continuously walk the trails of Segovia, I saw the bits and pieces of who I was then; from the teenagers who were awed to world and having a great time. a tourist enjoying the view. an individual always looking for an answer. and wishing luck at everything i hope and do. that is when i came to fully accept, I was one of them.

2. The New and old friends you made.

In my generation... facebook is always a mean of reference to the people we know and the people we want to keep in touch with. not only it keeps you up to date about their lives, but it also helps you to be more connected to them. in the course of my life, I have met of a lot of people from school, classes, gyms, social events, travels, and parties etc... spent some good quality time with a few and made some connection from them in the past. I was back home browsing through my facebook and felt bad realising the people that seemed a friend before and now became a total stranger at the present moment of my life, as I couldn't even say we're even acquainted anymore, how we used  to share things in the past and suddenly ended up feeling like they're a total different person. and on the brighter side. you also realize the people who stayed. who has been there for you through thick and thin, to fun times and sad, especially the best and the worst. and the new friends who were rising. new relationships blossoming. It's so comforting to know the people that you know you're gonna witness growing old with. and have a wall. that you both wont change for each other. still share the silly, weird, sometimes wild and funny moments you're secure doing. and you guys know who you are.

London, United Kingdom

3. Relationships

I have been away from my family for a year now. because of my job and me deciding to move out and relocate to another country. I became more connected with them. But family is always family. It is always important to get connected to the people you care about. because life goes so fast and it will surprise you with a blink of an eye. and it's important to keep the connection from the people you care about. and relationships you have built with them for years.

4. Knowing who you really are.

at 22 turning 23 next month. it's still a struggle for me defining myself. but day by day. I always discover something new about myself. my ability to embrace the changes and remain the character  I have thus explore the character that has always been somewhere buried inside me. along the way and especially when you're young. there is always an influence of the people or environment surrounding you. older people telling you what to do and what you should do; and you look at their life at the present moment, and they do well at defending themselves in their current situation how bitter but sugar coating it sweet as of the moment. never the less. it's part of growing up. you'd realize your true self when you've detach yourself from them. from the people who've held you back a little. I did start from scratch again. building and rebuilding myself and the relationships with the people around me. but i can say I'm a little bit successful doing it as of the moment... hehe. as I recalled a character from a book of Paulo Coelho's 11 minutes "When I stopped being who I am, I found myself.” I may have define some ladder I've taken about myself. but the next step is always a surprise. about the things I didn't know I can do.

5. Gratitude

I wasn't the person before who is always thankful for what I have. I know I had an easy life. privilege somehow. I was able to have this and have that. get this, get that. do this and do that. I don't think about much on what's going on around me, and all I know is to have fun. when you live a certain standard of living and everything seems to be normal around you. gratitude does not appear around your system. when you're used to the good stuff throughout your life, its a normal everyday cycle that you don't notice that it's out of the ordinary. I started travelling and saw the contrast about how other people can be happy with so little around them. that I learn to become grateful to where I am and especially the things that come easy around me. from not struggling so much in life. knowing that I'm not alone. that I'm able to eat more than 3 meals a day even tho I choose not to eat sometimes (calories.. lol) those simple things that I can be thankful about every morning and everyday. enough to know that I live comfortably.

6. Never stop dreaming

there were times that circumstance in your life puts you temporarily out of the line or path you wanna take. when you get distracted with so many things happening around you. take a pause. have a conversation with yourself, ask yourself "what do you want?"(even tho that's the hardest question for everyone) can't answer, then never give finding an answer. always have something live for the next. whether it be petty or silly. even tho you know how the world will criticise you. but at the end of the day. It's a life that you to live by your self. dreaming and acting how to get is the way to live it. "we might not know how, but let's just do it." it's one of the realisation I realized when I started to reflect on people in different parts of the world Ive been to.

7. Living the now

It became a bad habit of mine to be anxious on a question "what's next?" to every situation and moment I was in. i've learn this term before. but when life becomes so fast. feeling like you're in a race. you tend to forget to appreciate what surrounds you. the focus of living in the moment by the things you currently see and feel. it is important to submit if you can to the wonders that the world is offering you. feel as if there is no 2nd time around and just be in it. live it now...

**** will further post on the outfits and place I've been to. and I have not proof read yet haha.

Iphonetography: Montreal Canada

May 25, 2015
Switching memory cards onto your laptop or pc is a lot of work. There were tons of instances that id have to find convinience store in the middle of a country of no where because i forgot to unplug my memory card from my computer back home. And this is one of the trips that I hate myself for neglecting to bring it with(since an slr with be useles without it's memory), and of course our mobile phones are our 2nd brain or 2nd soul now a days.
And so i'd have to opt to my iphone to not miss the beautiful view im seeing by the use camera phone. I used to post pics from my archive using my camera phone, but i have to process everything and retouch the colors and brightness of everything wrong in the picture.
But so far iphone is doing it's job well. There is no filter by the way. Everything was taken the way it is(I'm actually blogging using my phone).
I'm really impressed with the outcome of my photos. And so moving on... This was in montreal canada. The biggest church in montreal. Its been around a decade now, as far as I'am informed. but im not really sure. just an update, my phone was stolen in the aircraft.... and i know. poor me.

The change you least expect...

February 1, 2015

they say "that the best things in life comes when you least expect them." before moving out of manila... the truth is. I wanted to run away from whatever I have in that city. I'm still a little hesitant to move out... pondering and wondering about the life that I have to give up and convincing myself that I have nothing left in that city. not to get me wrong but I love manila, It brought me so much learning and adventure that made me who I'am today.. from the people and the friends that I have made; but when the day finally arrived that I had to make a choice... I followed my instincts and set my foot on the plane jan 14, 2015. this is what I did not expected..

5 reason why my New's year resolution: is to not make a new year's resolution.

January 2, 2015

It became a tradition every new year to have a resolution. but this year... I felt like not having one. I've been telling myself to do the things I want at the moment and be at the present. everyday we try to set the bar to where we want and how we want things to end up. In the process, it felt like things were not falling in it's own place or some were neglected along the way only to realize that you didn't put so much effort about those resolutions you made.

1. who was successful about their New Year's resolution?
Can you a give a name or anyone you know who was so proud about the success of their new year's resolution? maybe we can get tips if there is anyone, or damn!! he's not human. the thing is; there is a lot in the way that takes the things we have in  mind or the list we wanted to make. lucky if were able to do at least just one. or better yet. why not just make one. but one of the realities among like us. is that we forget. but hey. it's always better to make one. I'm just saying, for a change.. why not to not make one.

2. Do still you still remember your New Year's coming Aspiration?
I guess not. but applause to who ever you are if you do. but i'm guilty as charge that I don't even remember what it is. and if your smiling reading this. hell yeah.. hi five!

3. Why not just try to always become who you want to become.
Isn't it fun that we're not trap in a pressure cooker to meet a deadline. but life has to have deadline you know ;D.. but who cares... maybe this year. just try to work your ass off until you don't realize you're already there. to be shocked that you're standing and telling yourself "I'm here.. I did it." with the subtle feeling of disbelief that you're already there.  as what they say "the best things come when you least expect them." and probably that's what you can do this year.

Remove the EXPECT-ATION...

4. Keep finding what you want and just do it.
life is said to be a journey... a never ending journey. same as with the clothes you wear. you keep looking for the perfect fit and perfect match for welcoming fate or destiny.

5. Always try to be better than ever.
you know where you stand right now... all you have to do is just make it better. (no proof reading.. was drunk)

Taking Leaps away from the city: the journey (part 2)

December 10, 2014

An hour plane ride. 4 hours sitting in the car... it was a sore. but the experience was worth.

city is always a comforting place for everybody to live in. just a few blocks away you end up in store where you can grab anything you want. a little hump outside the house, there you go... you can be indulging with an ice cream or your favorite drink.
but these pictures speaks different from what we commonly see or live in the city... It makes you appreciate life and be gratified more.

as people who lives away from modern civilization, strive to work and exert so much effort to feed themselves and walk miles to study for a brighter future. now the christmas is just around the corner. these are things that I'd like to be thankful for. Especially for opening my eyes into the wonders and life of other people.
it is indeed a very nurturing experience for me.
